I Am Not Who I Was, I Once Was Lost

I am SO thankful that I have a new heart and a new spirit! My old heart was self seeking, selfish, confused and without purpose. I was lost. I was searching for meaning in places I’d never ever discover truth. And, I didn’t even know I was lost. But, God in His grace and love for me, gave me a new heart!

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 36:26).

I am also SO thankful that He will not leave me where I am at now, because there is so much for me to know and learn.

“…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

God’s love for us is bigger than we understand now. He has great things to show us, beautiful plans that we could never dream up for ourselves. In this world of chaos and uncertainty, Jesus is our unfailing Hope. He gives us a new heart and a future filled with hope as He continues the good work in us.
